“In the Pink” is nestled left from the steps, in shady private position at the end of Bath street/Esplanade car park, in a private shaded area, with room for 8 adults and children to relax and enjoy. Car park, beach, shop, toilets and life saving club all just a short walk away.
Everything is provided:
• BBQ.
• chairs and tables.
• sun lounges.
• cups, glasses, plates & bowls, trays, tea and coffee, sauce and oil for BBQ.
• childrens sand toys and balls for the very best day on the beach.
• and porta potty for those wet emergencies only.
You need to bring:
• bathers & towels.
• food and drinks for the day.
• Sunscreen for the “slip slop slap”.
Mills Beach is a favourite, crystal clear blue water and bright beach boxes dotted along the golden sand. It is the perfect family beach, with shallows for littlies to play, rock pools for the older children to discover star fish, crabs and other sea creatures.
Mills Beach is located 1 km north of Mornington Pier and Main street shopping strip.
It is home to the Mornington Surf Lifesaving Club which was established in 1914. Volunteers patrol the beach over the summer months as well as selling drinks and ice creams from the kiosk. Nippers, seniors and summer swimming lessons are also held at the club.
